  10. Note how the stream (Vs.7) compares to, and differs from, the
  11. stream spoken of in the 47th chapter of Ezekiel.
  12.  
  13.      1)   As the hand moves over the harp, and the strings speak,
  14.  
  15.      2)   So speaks in my members the Spirit of the Lord, and I
  16.           speak by His love.
  17.  
  18.      3)   For it destroys what is foreign, and everything that is
  19.           bitter:
  20.  
  21.      4)   For thus it was from the beginning and will be to the
  22.           end, that nothing should be His adversary, and nothing
  23.           should stand up against Him.
  24.  
  25.      5)   The Lord has multiplied the knowledge of Himself, and
  26.           is zealous that these things should be known, which by
  27.           His grace have been given to us.
  28.  
  29.      6)   And the praise of His name He gave us: our spirits
  30.           praise His Holy Spirit.
  31.  
  32.      7)   For there went forth a stream and became a river great
  33.           and broad;
  34.  
  35.      8)   For it flooded and broke up everything and it brought
  36.           (water) to the Temple:
  37.  
  38.      9)   And the restrainers of the children of men were not
  39.           able to restrain it, nor the arts of those whose
  40.           business it is to restrain waters;
  41.  
  42.      10)  For it spread over the face of the whole earth, and
  43.           filled everything: and all the thirsty upon the earth
  44.           were given drink of it;
  45.  
  46.      11)  And thirst was relieved and quenched: for from the Most
  47.           High the draught was given.
  48.  
  49.      12)  Blessed then are the ministers of that draught who are
  50.           entrusted with that water of His:
  51.  
  52.  
  53.  
  54.      13)  They have assuaged the dry lips, and the will that had
  55.           fainted they have raised up;
  56.  
  57.      14)  And souls that were near departing they have caught
  58.           back fro death:
  59.  
  60.      15)  And limbs that had fallen they straightened and set up:
  61.  
  62.      16)  They gave strength for their feebleness and light to
  63.           their eyes:
  64.  
  65.      17)  For everyone knew them in the Lord, and they lived by
  66.           the water of life forever.  Hallelujah.
